Residential & Commercial Wiring

Whole House Copper Wiring

There are many things to take into consideration when wiring a home for both electrical and telecommunication purposes. As technology advances, it has become clear that the importance of having high quality copper wiring in your home is indisputable.

Aluminum Wiring Solutions

Aluminum wire will shrink and expand quite a bit with the temperature changes. This causes connections to loosen over time. The loose connections can result in overheating or sparks which can lead to a fire. We can help you switch from aluminum to copper wire throughout your home.

Dock Electrical Wiring

HRE is an expert in dock electrical wiring power and lighting. Water and electricity are not best friends. Dock shore power, underwater lighting, dock lighting installation, repair, and maintenance all require professional electrician service.

LED Light Illumination

Indoors and outdoors

Lighting is one of the most important elements of your home`s design. It serves many functions, such as providing safety, assisting in performing household tasks, creating an atmosphere for entertaining, and pulling together the overall design a homeowner is trying to achieve. Modern LED illumination will tranform your living space and let you save up to 10 times more energy compared to traditional bulbs.

Lighting Upgrades

Energy Savings

Are you looking for ways to cut back on electrical bill?

Lighting is one of the least efficient energy conversion processes in buildings. Replacement of outdated lighting systems could save you up to 75% on energy bill and will pay for itself within 1-3 years on average.

Recessed lights

New look.

Recessed lighting is a great option for solving multiple lighting needs. It provides ample light, can be used for ambient, task or accent lighting and can even make spaces appear larger. Great benefit to recessed lights is that they can be installed anywhere. If you’re looking for a way to light up a shower stall or bathtub alcove, a recessed shower light should do the trick without taking up much space.

Home Theater Installation

When you're planning a new home theater installation or want to upgrade an existing home theater, you may want to consider hiring professional home theater installers for the job.

Wall mounted Flat Screen TV

You just got a brand new flat-panel TV. Why not save space and give your room a modern look by mounting it to the wall with a tilting bracket?

Home network wiring

Structured wiring for home automation and home networking is not new. Most devices can utilize WI-FI for connection but hard-wired ethernet has some benefits like stable reliable data transfers and speeds upto 10 Gbps across your local network.

Panels & Equipment/Appliances

Electrical Panel Upgrades

Your home’s electrical system centers around the electrical control panel, or breaker box, located in your home. This electrical panel connects your home to power lines fueled by the utility company. The currents running from the electrical panel run to the various circuits throughout your home.

Sub Panel Installation

If the service panel does not have room for new circuit breakers and you cannot use tandem breakers, a subpanel may be the answer. A subpanel connects to the main service panel with a thick three-wire cable. The feeder breaker in the main panel acts as the main disconnect for the subpanel. Before installing one, consult with an inspector to make sure you do not overload your overall system.

Meter Box Replacement

Meter box in an important part of electrical supply and safety for any home or office. Unlike your meter, meter boxes are not owned or operated by your local utility company. If something goes wrong with your meter box, it’s up to you to repair or replace them.

Troubleshooting GFCI tripping

When a GFCI trips, there must be a reason. Instead of just resetting the GFCI, you also must investigate the cause of the trip. Ground faults occur when electrical current finds an unintended path to ground. The usual ground-fault suspects include worn insulation, conductive dusts, water, or other “soft grounds.”

Loose wiring. Fire prevention

Most electrical fires are caused by faulty electrical outlets and old, outdated appliances. Other fires are started by faults in appliance cords, receptacles and switches.

Disaster electrical restoration

Mother Nature has the potential to inflict massive damage on electrical home systems. Floods, lightning strikes, electrical shortages may bring significant problems to home owners. HRE works with Restoration and Insurance Companies to restore electrical service at minimal cost.
